All Fee's include a trophy for your child at the end of season.
We at APYF realize that the fee's may seem substantial to some parents, but once you take into consideration the cost of equipment, cheer uniforms, fee's we must pay for Field maintance, Liability Insurance, and fee's to Mid-Florida Conference to particpate, the cost per child can become costly. We at APYF work very hard to keep these cost to the bare minimum. I am proud of the fact that APYF has been able to function now for 5 seasons without passing the cost unto parents and make improvements to our facility. The switch this season to Mid-Florida Conference has also allowed us to keep the fee's the same. Continuation with Pop Warner this season would have forced us to raise the fee's.
I am sorry that we can only offer 1 discount registration date this year. Our expenses last year exceeded our budget with the increase of participants from the discounts. The sponsor support was not significate enough to offset these extra cost as we hoped. We do operate in a year over year budget. In other words APYF operates from funds of the previous year.
With the move to MFFCC this season we expect more in registrations, so therefore, more equipment will need to be purchased to meet the demand. The board was cautious to offer more than one discount registration this season.
