2010 Team Rosters For MFFCC
The below divisions & weights are for 2009. MFFCC is considering changes in Flag, MM, & PW. Such as Tiny Mites(no flag) unlimted weight in all divisions. APYF does not support the changes, but we are only 1 vote of 43 associations. If these changes are voted we will have no choice but to comply. Visit mffcc.org and voice your opinion in the forum section. We expect a vote in February 2010 MFFCC meeting.

Tackle Football: $80.00
Flag Football: $65.00
Cheerleading: $105.00 You child keeps the cheer uniform.
All Fee's include a trophy for your child at the end of season.
APYF operates in a year-over-year budget. In other words we operate from funds of the previous year. We are financially solid for another season in 2010, but unfortunately in 2010 the Board is considering a rate change for participation.
We can no longer keep fee's current with the present economy. The Rising cost in equipment, insurance, trophies, and the possiblity of the city charging more fee's in a renewed contract for 2010 & beyond. We must also anticipate MFFCC changing from Flag to Tiny Mites Tackle Football. If this change takes place more equipment will be needed for an age group we do not have. It can be fiancially irresponsible not to raise the rates in 2010.
We must assure the future of our program beyond 2010 for our children. I am proud that for 6 years we have been able to keep the fee's as low as possible, but the reality of the times dictate that we take action to assure the future. I do not anticipate the increase to be substancial,(maybe for Tiny Mites), but we have no choice. We will have a discount registration, as always, but even the discount will be cut as well, and there will be only one chance to capture this discount and register early for next season.
As I said at the end of year banquet to you all, look for the "Spring Mini Camp" in May 2010 as the chance to sign-up and assure your childs place on a team for next season. A definite date will be set at our April meeting. Look for flyers at the schools and check the website for a notice.

Our first "Mini-Camp" was a success! We look forward to more camps in the years to come. Thank you for your support. With sign-ups accounting for our early registration it has taken no time for the teams / squads to fill up. We still have a few spots available for Mitey Mite and Junior cheer squads. We are also allowing names to be put on waiting lists in case spots should come open on any team or squad. Our next sign up date is set for July 10,2010 at Memorial Field from 10am-1pm. If you have any paperwork or monies owed we will be taking those things that day.
